LGBTQI+ individuals in displacement and emergency settings have access to assistance that meets their specific needs; and access to life-enhancing opportunities. 

LGBTQI+ Inclusive Programming:

Diverse humanitarian and development organisations adopt and strengthen LGBTQI+ inclusive programming, upholding the Humanitarian Principles, Humanitarian Imperative.

Collaborative Partnerships: 

Meaningful localisation is accelerated through collaborative partnerships, leveraging complementary experiences and skills to strengthen the role of diverse civil society in SOGIESC inclusive programming.

Research on the Intersection of Law and Humanitarian Action:

Humanitarian organisations, multi-lateral institutions and Governments make informed decisions based on reliable legal and policy analyses of LGBTQI+ rights; and independent global research. 

Advocacy for Change:  

Recognition by multi-lateral institutions, governments and humanitarian organisations, of SOGIESC communities’ right to access specific assistance and services – which are equal to any other community with specific needs – and which in turn enhances inclusion at a humanitarian operational level.
