The International PRIDE Centre is proud to release its second quarterly Situation Report, covering March–July 2025 across Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Malawi, Burundi, and the DRC. This in-depth resource combines rigorous legal and policy analysis with humanitarian needs assessments, offering a comprehensive snapshot of the realities faced by LGBTQIA+ communities in displacement and emergency contexts.
I am very proud of this document. It represents our team’s efforts to engage with local partners in our target countries and our analysis of current conditions as they pertain to LGBTQIA+ people navigating humanitarian emergencies and track trends and identify community needs and service gaps.
Drawing on fieldwork, interviews, and regional data, the SitRep identifies urgent gaps in protection, service delivery, and inclusion. It is a highly professional output designed to support aid actors, policymakers, and civil society in developing inclusive, rights-based responses. We invite partners and stakeholders to engage with the findings and explore how the PRIDE Centre can support your programming and advocacy efforts.
